According to the WhatsApp Beta Android 2.23.9.19 update, the chat transfer feature can be transferred without Google Drive. In this feature, you will be able to easily transfer chat history to Android devices by going to the app settings and scanning a QR code. In this, users will not need manual backup from Google Drive. A screenshot has been shared by WhatsApp regarding this new feature.
QR scan will do the job
According to the screenshot, the QR code can be accessed by going to WhatsApp settings. It has to be scanned. Also, two options Continue and Not Now will be available at the bottom.
