Initially, GPT-5.2 is being rolled out in phases, with paid users receiving the update first. ChatGPT Go, Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers will receive this update first, while free and Edu accounts will have to wait a little longer. Notably, paid users will also have access to GPT-5.1 for three months, after which it will be removed. Regarding pricing, the base model of GPT-5.2 is available for $1.75 per million input tokens and $14 per million output tokens. The Pro model is aimed at professional users who require high-capacity and premium output. It is priced at $15 input and $168 output per million tokens.
